Day five

Greetings from Antigua. Things are great here. Aaron and I are really enjoying our time alone, but missing the kiddos soooo badly. It is nice to have time for just the two of us again.
Either of us realized who the other guest at the resort would be, but we thought maybe younger couples, middle aged adults or honeymooners, probably a good amount of Americans. We'll we were wrong. I have not heard a single American speak here. It is funny, because I'll see a couple and say oh they look American, I'll then proceed to ask Aaron to listen and see if they have an accent. And they don't! Well, looks like we are the only Americans here, which is kinda fun. I love hearing all the accents, and they are mostly English.
As far as age, mostly older couples, some young, but not much. And lots of families which makes it hard to see the little children running around, it makes me wish Taylynn and Preston were here.

Speaking of Preston, I guess he got to meet famous little Harper Stamps. Kelly took a picture of the two of them I believe, so I need to get that from her. I wish I could have been their to meet Harper and Kelly, but maybe next time.

*****UPDATE**********
Here is pretty Miss Harper and Preston, Thank you so much Kelly!

We are having a great time and the plan for tomorrow is to go shopping, so look forward to some great pictures. Here are some from today:

Here is breakfast, yummy!

It was rainy today, which worked out great because I got a little too much sun. We eventually went out and soaked it up.
We did witness a baptism today, it was wonderful. All the people were rejoicing and so excited, it will be something I take home and treasure. Also this morning they played Christian music and some of the girls were singing as they worked, it is so great to see God here in Antigua.

Taylynn and Preston, can you find Ella?

Check this crab out, he would come up from the sand then bury him self back down.

Here are some little itty bity fish.

Footprints in the sand.We freshend up and went to dinner.
Thanks for checking in on us, we'll be home in 5 days 6 hours. We miss you Taylynn and Preston, be good for Grandmother and Grandad!

Day four lets tan some more

Hi
We are having fun.
We started off this morning with a good workout. They have a small gym here where I ran and Aaron did, well what ever Aaron does. It felt good to work off some calories, we plan on doing it every morning while we are here.
We went for breakfast, which was a buffet of all kinds of things. Their are three restaurants here and I was disappointed when I heard only three because when we went to Jamaica their were 8. Let me tell you, this food is great. For breakfast I had watermelon, toast (which as AWESOME), eggs and one piece of bacon. Lunch I had blue cheese broccoli (soo good), bread (I'll have a separate paragraph about the bread), pork loin (or something), pasta, and some veggies.
Dinner, was different it was sit down with a menu, I ordered steak and asparagus with potato wedges, and bread.

Ok so for those who really know me in person, know I LOVE LOVE LOVE bread and I will NEVER give up carbs for that reason alone. The bread here taste all homemade and is always served hot. It is simple, but that is how I love it. Also they only have really butter here so I have to use it of course. Awww just so good thinking of it. I have always said I could live off of diet coke and bread. I am loving it here.

So today after breakfast we laid out and go some sun. I am actually a little burnt, but I am one of those people who will burn then get tan. I don't seem to ever just get tan, I am always red first.

We laid out about 3 hours then went in for lunch. After that we went to the beach and snorkeled, I don't have picture because they are on an underwater camera :( We didn't see really anything though.

After that we did row boats and relaxed. The we dug for shells to bring home to miss Taylynn. The plan is to also go shopping somewhere, but you have to pay like 75 dollars a person just to go, so we'll see.

I was beat from the sun, so we went to our room showered then watched some movie with Janet Jackson in it, not sure what it was.

The rest of the day was just relaxing staying in until the sun went down. Now we are out listening to music enjoying the cool breeze. I think I am going to started napping during the day because I am sooo tired.
WHERE IS ELLA? MISS TAYLYNN CAN YOU FIND HER?

Day two and three

We are here, but I am going to recap on yesterday first.

In the morning we took Taylynn and Preston to Krispy Kream, all I can say is YUMMY and that I am so glad we don't have one in Topeka.

We left Arkansas around 12:30 and had a nice quite drive to Kansas City. I distracted my self so I wouldn't cry, but it was so hard.
We got on a plane at 6pm and landed in Chicago at 7:45ish. The next flight we had was to Miami and it was delayed a bit, so we didn't get into Miami until 2ish their time. We were tired. Here are some pictures from that night.

The next morning we got up and had a great breakfast including omelet, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, grape fruit, mixed fruit, donuts, muffins, too much to even remember. It was great and has lasted us a while.

We headed to the airport and waited just a while then got on the plain was headed to Antiuga. We the inflight movie was Last Chance Harvey, it was a cute movie. Never heard of it until today though.

We got to Antigua paid 30 dollars for a cab, then ended up here:

Taylynn and Preston we are thinking about you every second and we miss you so much! We love you, Mommy and Daddy!

We are having a great time, see you tomorrow!

DAY1 EVENING

We'll we have made it through day 1. I have decided to take Ella the elephant on this week long journey, if anything so Taylynn and Preston can enjoy seeing where she is and has been.

Some of the pictures might be harder to spot her and some she might not even be in. I'll try to let you know.

We are doing good. The car ride was not the greatest. We got here in Bentonville safely, but Preston was upset the whole time. I think he wanted to sleep but couldn't, plus he has his eighth tooth coming in.

Here is a picture of us hitting the road and there is Ella sitting on the dash

This was Preston and Taylynn five minutes into the drive. Notice he is sleeping, this only lasted 10 minutes and he was awake for the rest of the drive.

We had to stop for an early dinner at Denny's because Preston was so upset. We had a nice breakfast dinner. Ella enjoyed her pancakes.

We made it. This is my parents backyard. The kids are going to have so much fun!

See you tomrrow. I am not sure if will get WYFI we'll be flying from KC at 6 then end in Miami at 12:15 am We are staying at the Embassy Suites for a whole 6 hours!!!! It is so nice I wish we could spend more time there. Aaron as never been to one, so that is why I picked it. (remeber we are not paying for it). I will talk to you as soon as I can!

Day 1

So today we are finishing packing and loading up. We plan to leave anywhere around 1:30pm.
We'll be driving to Arkansas to drop Taylynn and Preston off at my parents house. We will spend the night there and get them settled.

I have a few things to do this morning, but for the most part I think we are ready to go. We have a few friends who are going to rotate and take shifts to take care of our house. Thank you we appreciate you so much! I am hoping to find something awesome to bring back to them. When we went to Jamaica their really wasn't much that we saw other than junky stuff, maybe Antigua will be different.

OK we'll I will update soon. Please pray that we have safe travels!

Thank you Regis and Kelly

Ok the next couple weeks are going to be fun. Aaron and I are leaving Wednesday for Antigua. We won't get there until Friday because we have to stop in Arkansas and drop the kids off at my parents house where they will get SPOILED SPOILED and SPOILED. I am going to post everyday about our trip and show you lots of pretty pictures.

But today I am doing something I have been meaning to do for a few months. I'll let the video do all the talking. ENJOY!

Sorry it's not the best quality I was going to re tape it, but it got erased from our DVR.

Thanks Regis and Kelly!
