Vintage Carnival

Today was one of my best friends, son's FIRST birthday! My friend Keri wanted a vintage carnival theme with circus, Ferris wheel and fair elements, I think it turned out so cute!

I can't take credit for it, Keri worked just as hard and had a lot of the ideas, I just helped her make them happen. 

Vintodern

I have a new design, thanks to Danielle over at Take Heart. 
She did an awesome job making my blog look just the way I wanted.....I love it! Looks a little....vintodern (vintage but in a modern way).....(I made up that word, but I like it because that's the best way to describe my style.

Piece of my day

Taylynn and Preston are in Arkansas so it's Alayna, Chandler and I here during the day. I feel like I can take a breath and just be here....in the moment. I watch Alayna and see how every time I take my eyes off of her she gets a little bigger, but if I just stare, she's the same in that moment. I sit and soak it in, I'll remember this week forever. I'll remember the day we spent at the pool and how she wanted to keep going and going.
Chandler has been the perfect baby this week...other than using his two teeth to bite my arm when I am holding him. He is so happy and I love knowing what to do to make his face light up with joy.
I miss my Taylynn and Preston, but this is very reminiscent to when Taylynn was almost two and Preston almost one. So many memories are coming back to me.

Springfield, Missiouri

This last weekend we went to my brother's house in Springfield. My mom and dad and sister and brother in law also came for a visit. It was a mini family reunion.

We had such a great time. My brother and sister in law worked so hard to make this a great trip and it was. I am not sure we could have had more fun. We are already planning on going back soon.
