MOPS and Banners

Yesterday I was the "guest speaker" for my mom's group. I was so nervous, it was taking me back to public speaking 101! Although in comparison to any public speaking class, I actually talked about something I really enjoy......PARTIES!!!!

I guess my fear was that everyone would already know what I was saying, like it was nothing new, but I actually think I gave some pretty good ideas to the gals that they can/will actually use. I hope anyway.

I also had to come up with a craft for the whole group and I decided on making banners for the group. I cut out over 200 triangles of 20 different fabric patterns. I should have taken pictures, but I was a bit busy.

Here is the tutorial I passed out: To get a perfect triangle you can pull up paint or word and use your shapes tool and make a large triangle then print and cut and that can be your template.

I just made one for my self with the left over fabric. This will look great for Easter!Before you glue lay them upside down on the ribbon to check spacing. You want at least a foot on each side for tying.

14 weeks

Sickness:
Feeling pretty good!

Weight:
No weight gain..........it will happen.

Cravings:
Nothing yet.

Sleep:
Super tired and I even go to sleep around 10 if not before.

Gender:
Not sure yet, we should find out the first week in June.

Baby size:
My baby is close to the size of a fig and about 3 1/2 inches long. About the size of a lemon

Belly:
It's there, but I can still wear normal clothes.

Appointment:
We had the first appointment last week and we took Taylynn and Preston hoping they'd get excited about hearing the heartbeat......they didn't :( It was awesome for Aaron and I. Everything went great. I will be switching Doctors because mine is no longer doing deliveries :( She has delivered all three of my babies so it's kinda sad.

Preston's birthday celebrations

The Sunday before Preston's Birthday we took him to Kansas City to eat at Trex Cafe! Here is everyone in the car all excited. Preston was so excited he couldn't sit still.Singing him happy birthday. Alayna was not happy!We did a bit of shopping afterwards.
The next day Oma, Uncle Jason and Katie came over to see Preston on his birthday!Big Boy!

9 Months

Alayna Jane you are 9 months old today!

You are more beautiful everyday and more sweet too if that's even possible.

You got your first tooth (your bottom right) on April 9th. You don't let many people see it though.

You can easily go from your tummy to sitting.

You can almost crawl, but you haven't done it yet. I am in no rush, so don't feel the need to start. I enjoy not having baby gates and feeling good about turning my back. Once you start crawling you'll be everywhere. Then before I know it you'll be walking :(

Ever since the hospital you have had a real attachment to mommy, but I am loving it.

You are better since the hospital, but you still seem to have an issue with ear infections. You're as happy as can be though!

You weigh 26 pounds and you're 28 inches.

Your only word is dadda, which by the way he loves hearing you call his name.

You enjoy crackers, or more like you light up when we say cracker. You also have had carrots mashed and you like those too!

You can hold yourself up for quite a while, and you're so proud of yourself too.

You flip over when you sleep now and it's always a mystery where you'll be in the bed when we come get you.

You sleep all through the night from about 8-8 give or take an hour.

You nap in the morning and you nap in the afternoon for about an hour and a half sometimes three in the afternoon.

You don't like dogs. You have always seemed scared of them, but when I took you to the pet store yesterday and you saw the dogs you almost scratched my shoulder off trying to get away. Don't worry no dogs in the future for now!

You love bath time especially with Preston, he splashes and you splash back. That's my girl!
