Visit to Manhattan

This happened almost two weeks ago, but I am so behind.
I took all the kids for a day trip to Manhattan to see my mom, sister, baby Jack and some girls from our youth group who go to KSU.
It was a short trip, but fun. I was nice to get to see baby Jack at home and hold him a little bit.

We celebrated Nikki and Jeremy Larson's wedding September 25. It was a beautiful wedding and it was so much fun!

Alayna Smiles

I love this little girl to pieces. She is such a happy baby and she loves to smile. Here are a few shots I took the other day.
She loves for me to play peek-a-boo with her. She just stares at me. I love to peek through my fingers and watch her face as she waits for me to say Peek-a-boo.

We are getting ready for fall around here. Pictures of our trip to the pumpkin patch to come.......

Taylynn

Taylynn is doing well in preschool. She really loves it. For a while I would ask her what her snack was at school and she'd say things like corn dog, pizza, cereal, cinnamon roll. I wasn't sure what to think. Were they really giving her these things or is she making it up?
So I just had to ask the teacher. Turns out the preschoolers get the leftovers from breakfast that morning, sounds like some good stuff.
Preston and I are having fun too. I think he enjoys the time, but misses Taylynn.
Alayna typically sleeps the whole time, so this makes getting things done much smoother.

Shrimp Boil

A couple weekends ago we had a shrimp boil with our neighbors. We blocked off the street and had a party.

We have been so blessed with such great neighbors especially the ones right next to us and across the street.
