What a weekend

It all started Thursday night when Taylynn got sick. She was throwing up and just not herself. I was up with her from 2-5am. We had to miss her last day of swim lessons because she was sick, and yes, I still need to post about swim lessons.
She was better on Friday, but we still kept the day low key. We had two huge accomplishments to our house that have been over due. First, we finally got our much needed shed in the back. We have had this concrete slab for three years now and no shed. It had lots of use like a dance stage for Taylynn and her cousins.
We still need to paint the shed and fill it. But for now it's perfect.

The other accomplishment was cleaning our carpets. They look great now.

I am glad we got all that done on Friday because I woke up about 4 am saturday morning and realized I had hives. I am not sure if I have blogged about my hives, but I have been getting them twice a year at least since I was a junior in high school. They can be mild or HORRIBLE. This time they were pretty close to horrible. I am so glad I got them on the weekend so Aaron could be home to take care of Taylynn and Preston and I could sleep.

I am not sure what causes the hives. I have had an allergy test done and everything came back negative. They say it could be stress, but most of the time when I get them I feel pretty good and not stressed.

This time my hands and feet were so swollen, that now that the swelling is gone, my hands and feet feel bruised. One of my fingers feels broken (I am sure it's not, but it hurts).

I am doing ok today. I got out of the house and did some shopping at Hobby Lobby. I'm hosting a shower on Saturday, so I have a lot of work ahead of me.

I am going to another Stella and Dot party tonight, I love their jewelry!!

  1. We just got a shed almost exactly like that today!

My son has always gotten hives like that a couple times a year since he was little. They could never figure his out either. I totally understand the swollen feet and hands with that. Hope you feel better soon.
